This is the diary of Isabelle. This diary will serve to be a record of my daily journey into being a Vegetarian/Vegan. I have ate meat for 19 years of my life. I only decided to turn into a Vegetarian after chancing upon a video in youtube about poor animals and their slaughter.
This is going to be a very hard journey for someone like me, because I know myself very well, I have loved eating meat and I feel all these guilt filling inside of me and its too much to bear. I want to be a vegetarian to stop myself from indirectly killing anymore animals. I think I ate like 10,000 chickens in this 19 years of my life? Watching so many animal clips on youtube, I only realized I love animals like now. I never thought I would love them so much? And yet I consume them, the irony.
I know I can't totally quit meat totally, my mother is going to be against it, and so does my other friends. I don't want to tell anyone and make promises I'm gonna be a vegetarian, because I can't even promise this to myself. However, this is not cigarettes, this is not drugs. I can quit it as long as I have the will. My mum will buy me food, will cook food that contain meat. I need to find a solution to this problem. And the main problem is, I don't know how to break it out to her that I want to be a vegetarian. Hopefully, by penning down all my journey into being a vegetarian, I'll be able to convert into one.
Anyway, for daily routine I'll pen down what I ate for the whole day.
